Call for Oral Abstracts

Present Your Research and/or Case Report.

The Scientific Committee is accepting the submission of scientific abstracts including case reports for consideration and possible oral presentation at Aging and SleepTM 2025, which will be held June 19-20, in Paris, France.

Abstracts can report on basic, translational, and clinical science research including epidemiologic, social, behavioural, and psychosocial investigations or educational and care quality improvement projects. Case reports are also welcome.

Guidelines for oral abstract submission

Abstracts will be accepted for oral presentation only. Abstracts can be presented either in English or in French.

Oral presentations involve 10-minute communication and 4-minute “questions & answers” sequence.  All speakers must upload their presentation(s) to the network server in the speaker preparation room. Further information and instructions will be provided in advance of the meeting.

To submit an abstract of investigative work or case report, carefully review all abstract submission information noted below.

Abstracts will only be accepted by submission to the website. However, it is recommended to send a copy of the summary to the scientific secretariat lyon.est.apnees@gmail.com

  1. The last date of submission of abstract is May 5, 2025. The receipt of acknowledgement of the abstract will be sent within 72 hours and the final acceptance will be conveyed by May 10, 2025.
  2. The font size should be at least 10-point and Arial font should be used where practicable.
  3. Titles should be printed in bold with first letters of words in capitals.
  4. The authors’ names must be in capitals, followed by the initials of the first names in capitals. Place an asterisk (*) next to the names of the presenting author. Please omit titles and degrees.
  5. Abstracts must conform to the following outline:
    1. Title
    2. Authors and Institutions
    3. Introduction (or clinical case presentation)
    4. Methods (or case related investigations including sleep study, questionnaires etc)
    5. Results
    6. Conclusion
    7. Support (optional)
  6. The abstract should be as informative as possible, phrases such as “the results will be presented and discussed” will not be accepted.
  7. The title should not contain more than 90 characters, including spaces.
  8. The abstract body (including the introduction, methods, results and conclusion) is limited to 250 words. No tables or figures should be included in abstract.
  9. Each author must agree to the copyright assignment statement.
  10. Brand names may not be used in abstract titles and are limited to one reference within the body.
  11. There can be no more than ten (10) authors per abstract.
  12. Each author by submitting an abstract accepts de facto the transfer of copyright to the Aging and Sleep 2025 conference to be published in the digital abstract book.
  13. Speakers of accepted abstracts must register for the conference.
  14. Abstracts will be published in the digital abstract book only on receipt of payment in full for registration.
  15. Incomplete submissions and submissions not following guidelines will NOT be accepted.
